Camp Overview:Develop Advanced Aerial Robotics (Drones) Skill in youth ages 11 - 18 years via in-person instruction, demonstrations, hands-on activities and exercises. (Continued from WSB FSC 2023)

 

 

 

General Objectives:

Learners will develop their knowledge and skills in the following areas of work:

  •         Aerial Robotics (Drones)
  •         Aerial Robot Design
  •         Aerial Robot Operation
  •         Coding / Programming
  •         Python Coding / Programming Language
  •         Aerial Robot Programming
  •         Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) - Computer Vision, Image Processing
  •        Swarm Robotics

 

 

Learning Outcomes:

Learners who complete this course will be able to:

  •        Define Robotics and Aerial Robotics
  •        Identify Robots and Aerial Robots
  •        Identify Aerial Robot Components
  •        Discover Aerial Robots Applications
  •        Practice Basic Aerial Robot Operation
  •        Learn and Practice Python (Text) Coding / Programming
  •        Program Aerial Robots with Python
  •        Define Aritificial Intelligence (A.I.)
  •        Identify Computer Vision A.I. as well as its Applications
  •        Perform Image Processing
  •        Complete Aerial Robot Activities and Exercises (Remote and Autonomous)
  •        Discuss Aerial Robotics at an advanced level

 

 

 

Pre-Requisites:

Some prior experience in text-coding required. e.g. (Pascal, Python, C++, etc.)

Benefits:Individuals who complete this camp will have a hands-on introduction to three (3) of the most important and popular technologies as well as skills to date. Robotics via Aerial Robotics (Drones) and Programming (Coding) via the well known, high level language Python. A good foundation for potential STEM professionals and young hobbyists.
